PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jaw flaccidity preventing device for dead bodies for easily and reliably preventing a mouth from opening when muscles of a jaw part become flaccid after death.SOLUTION: The jaw flaccidity preventing device 1 for dead bodies includes a horizontal plate-like part 3 for covering at least molar teeth of a dead body and a joining member 2 having at least one wall part 5 which is formed to be perpendicular to the plate-like part and is provided on a side surface of the molar teeth, and has adhesive agent layers 7 which are formed on surfaces, making contact with the molar teeth, of upper and lower surfaces at least of the plate-like part to stick upper and lower tooth rows together by the adhesive agent for preventing the mouth from opening owing to the flaccidity of the jaw. In a preferred form, at least one through-hole 4 is formed in the plate-like part. Further preferably, the plate-like part and a pair of the right and left joining members 2 having at least one wall part formed to be perpendicular to the plate-like part are integrally connected by an elastic connecting part 6 bent into a U shape. Preferably, the adhesive layer is formed on a surface, which makes contact with the molar teeth, on the wall part.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】死後、顎部の筋肉が弛緩し、口が開くのを簡便かつ確実に防止することができる遺体用顎弛緩防止具を提供する。【解決手段】遺体用顎弛緩防止具1は、遺体の少なくとも臼歯を覆う水平な板状部3と、該板状部に対して略垂直に形成され、臼歯の側面に配置される少なくとも一つの壁部5とを有する接合部材2を備え、少なくとも上記板状部の上面及び下面の臼歯と接触する面に粘接着剤層7が形成されており、上記粘接着剤で上下の歯列を接着し、顎の弛緩による開口を防止できるようにされている。好適な態様においては、前記板状部に一つ以上の貫通孔4が形成されている。さらに好適には、前記板状部とそれに対して略垂直に形成された少なくとも一つの壁部とを有する左右一対の接合部材2が、略U字状に屈曲した弾性の連結部6で一体的に連結されている。前記壁部の臼歯と接触する面にも粘接着剤層を形成することが好ましい。【選択図】図1
