PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distal end portion for an endoscope for reliably connecting and fixing a distal end of a channel tube to the main body of a distal end portion in a manner to acquire a sufficient strength and sufficient sealabilities and not to have a dent or the like on the inner surface of a connecting hole in an assembly process.
SOLUTION: The distal end of the channel tube 6 is tightly fixed to a part closer to a proximal end of a connection pipe 14. A part closer to a distal end of the connection pipe 14 is fit and inserted into the connecting hole 13 formed by penetrating the main body 4 of the distal end portion in a manner to communicate with a distal end opening 5, and the fitted part is sealed by a sealing agent 22. A male thread part 15 is formed on the peripheral part of the intermediate part of the connection pipe 14, so that the male thread part 15 of the connection pipe 14 is threadably connected to a female thread part 20 formed on a part closer to a proximal end of the connecting hole 13.
