The present invention relates to an effervescent tablet-type toothpaste composition and a method for preparing the same. In particular, the method comprises: mixing a preparation containing 17.53 wt% of sorbitol, 10 wt% of silicon dioxide, 0.22 wt% of sodium fluoride, 0.05 wt% of pyridoxine hydrochloride, 1 wt% of sodium pyrophosphate, 1.20 wt% of aspartame, 0.50 wt% of ascorbic acid, 1 wt% of applemint scent powder, 1.50 wt% of camphor, 7 wt% of peppermint scent powder, 5 wt% of arabic gum, 30 wt% of sodium biocarbonate, and 10 wt% of L-malic acid, to produce a formulation by using a metal casting frame； coating the produced formulation with 15 wt% xylitol； and grinding the surface thereof so as to be smooth, to prevent cracking due to dryness.
