PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spiral rope for raising vine plants, devised in a structure so as to be suitable for growth characteristics of the vine plants, to provide a method for producing the spiral rope, and to provide a wall surface greening system using the spiral rope. SOLUTION: This spiral rope R for raising the vine plants has a core material 10 and a side material 20. The side material 20 is wound around the core material 10 so as to go along the winding direction of the vine B1 of the vine plants B which grow in the northern hemisphere of the earth.
