PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weedproof mat laid on a soil surface to be greened with vegetation plants while controlling propagation of weeds.
SOLUTION: The weedproof mat 100 includes a mat body 110 having a surface 110a and a back 110b, and at least a flexible cylindrical parts 120 integrally formed on the mat body 110 so as to extend from the surface 110a of the mat body 110 upward, wherein the inside area of each of the cylindrical parts 120 surrounded by the cylindrical parts 120 of the mat body 110 provides a vegetation area 112 for vegetation of the vegetation plants P on the soil G, and the outside area of each of the cylindrical parts 120 provides a non vegetation area 111 for controlling growth of weeds from the soil surface G by covering the soil surface G. The weedproof mat 100 provides a vegetation space (R) in the soil, in laying on the surface G, by folding each of the cylindrical parts 120 into the vegetation part 112 and reversely projecting to the back 110b side of the mat body 110.
