PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient method excellent in germicidal effect, and not showing chemical hazard to a germination rate of seeds, concerning a germicidal treatment of grain seeds.SOLUTION: A peracetic acid preparation containing peracetic acid in a proper concentration range is used for a germicidal treatment of grain seeds of a rice plant, wheat, barley or the like in a practical time on an agricultural work field. Hereby, pathogenic bacteria adhering to the grain seeds are killed, and thereafter, peracetic acid is removed by water washing, to thereby achieve reduction and exemption of a chemical hazard such as decline of a germination rate to the grain seeds caused by peracetic acid, and to further achieve sound growth of the grain seeds of a rice plant, wheat, barley or the like.SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】本発明は、それら穀物種子の殺菌処理に関し、種子の発芽率に薬害がなく、効率が良く且つ優れた殺菌効果がある方法を提供するものである。【解決手段】本発明は、適切な濃度範囲の過酢酸を含む過酢酸製剤を、農作業場面において実用的な時間でイネ、コムギ、オオムギなどの穀物種子の殺菌処理に用い、穀物種子に付着している病原菌を殺滅し、その後水洗浄により過酢酸を除去することで、過酢酸による穀物種子への発芽率低下といった薬害を減免させ、イネやコムギ、オオムギなどの穀物種子の健全な生育を成し得るものである。【選択図】なし
