PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and apparatus for manufacturing an excrement treatment material, while omitting a mixing process, capable of acquiring excrement treatment materials in which granular bodies with different diameters are mixed.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method includes a granulation process. The granulation process is a step of extrudingly granulating granulation object materials using a granulator 10 to form a plurality of granulated materials. The granulator 10 includes a die 12. The die 12 includes a plurality of through-holes 13 for passing the granulation object materials formed thereon.
