The present invention relates to a composition useful in the prevention and treatment of non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases caused by fat accumulated in the liver due to excessive nutrient ingestion or metabolic syndrome, regardless of alcohol consumption. The composition of the present invention can significantly improve the increased liver weight, accumulated liver triglycerides, increased serum ALT level, reduced liver SOD activity, and reduced liver total antioxidative capacity in experimental animals raised with a high-fat diet for a long period of time.
