PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method of manufacturing stretchable sheet, the apparatus including a projection for pressurizing to cut an elastic member, hardly causing chip/wear of the projection, and having capability of surely cutting the elastic member.SOLUTION: In a part of the circumferential direction R of the peripheral face of a first roll 5, there is formed a projection group 4P in which a plurality of projections 4 are arranged in a systematic pattern. Of the plurality of projections 4 comprising the projection group 4P, the foremost projection 4Q is situated in the foremost part in the rotating direction R1 of the first roll 5 and comes in the first contact with a composite sheet 10A. The foremost projection 4Q is such that the front end 41 in the rotating direction R1 of the apex 40 is a straight line 30 that is parallel to the rotary axis direction A of the first roll 5. Other projections 4 other than the foremost projection 4Q in the projection group 4P are such that the front end 41 in the rotating direction R1 of the apex 40 is a corner part 31 that is constituted of mutually intersecting two sides 42, 43, which intersect in both directions of the rotary axis direction A and the peripheral direction R.【課題】弾性部材を加圧して切断する凸部を備え、且つ該凸部の欠け・磨耗が生じ難く且つ該弾性部材を確実に切断し得る伸縮性シートの製造装置及び製造方法を提供すること。【解決手段】第１のロール５の周面の周方向Ｒの一部に、複数個の凸部４が規則的なパターンで配置された凸部群４Ｐが形成されている。凸部群４Ｐを構成する複数個の凸部４のうち、第１のロール５の回転方向Ｒ１の最前部に位置して複合シート１０Ａと最初に接触する、最前部凸部４Ｑは、その頂部４０の回転方向Ｒ１の前端４１が、第１のロール５の回転軸方向Ａと平行な直線３０である。凸部群４Ｐにおける最前部凸部４Ｑ以外の他の凸部４は、その頂部４０の回転方向Ｒ１の前端４１が、互いに交差する二辺４２，４３により構成される角部３１であり、該二辺４２，４３は、何れも回転軸方向Ａ及び周方向Ｒの両方向に交差している。【選択図】図３
