PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that can efficiently perform shell peeling to lotus seeds more than a conventional device.SOLUTION: A shell peeling device includes a guide unit 6 for making lotus seeds M fall to the lower part while guiding them, and a shell peeling processing unit 3 for performing shell peeling processing to the lotus seeds supplied from the guide unit. The shell peeling processing unit includes: a first roller 11 a second roller 12 rotating in the same direction as the first roller while securing a gap F between a first rotating body and itself and two cutters 13, 14 rotating around shaft lines 13d, 14d capable of setting inclination only by any angle in any direction at the position facing the gap between the first roller and the second roller, and formed of spiral blades in the outer circumferential part.
