PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling vehicle capable of rapidly maintaining an erection posture of a step lid by a simple operation by using an operation pedal of a step, and opening and closing the step lid and maintaining the erection posture by a simple and inexpensive structure.SOLUTION: In the traveling vehicle, an opening/closing step lid 19 to form a step floor and an operation pedal 22 are provided on a step 7 of a steering unit 4 installed on a traveling base 1, and the step lid 19 is maintained in an erection posture by the operation pedal 22.
