The present invention describes a device for classifying the cuts of meat by an artificial vision, which has a cabinet with a cavity for introducing a tray with the piece of meat or with a tunnel for attenuating the light installed in a conveyor belt, a touch screen, a digital camera, an illumination system, a light conditioning plate, an object detector by optic barrier and a digital system where upon detecting a piece of meat in position, the digital system activates the illumination system which light is blurred and filtrated, the camera being activated for taking a colour photograph of the meat piece, then the photo being analysed and displayed in the touch screen where each type of tissue is coloured in a different form, this allowing the operator to make corrections if required and providing numeric digits of areas, percentages, colouring degree and approximate weight of each type of tissue. The purpose of the invention is to provide a device for measuring the different charact eristics of meat cuts by artificial vision in an objective manner so that the meat industry has a reliable tool for classifying its meat products.El presente invento describe un dispositivo clasificador de cortes de carne por visión artificial que consta de un gabinete con una cavidad para ingresar una bandeja con la pieza de carne o con un túnel atenuador de luz para instalarse en una banda transportadora, una pantalla táctil, una cámara digital, de un sistema de iluminación, una placa acondicionadora de luz, un detector de objetos por barrera óptica y un sistema digital que al detectar que hay una pieza de carne en posición, el sistema digital activa el sistema de iluminación cuya luz es difuminada y filtrada, activa la cámara, hace que se tome una imagen a color de la pieza de carne, la analiza, muestra la imagen en la pantalla táctil coloreando de forma distinta cada tipo de tejido, que le permite al operador hacer correcciones si es necesario y dando cifras numéricas de áreas, porc
