The invention relates to a splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) for immobilising a joint, which is to be worn at the joint to be immobilised, wherein the splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) comprises at least one flat body (2, 32, 52, 52", 62, 72) that has at least two contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) for limbs adjoining the joint to be immobilised. A supporting member (6, 36, 36", 36", 36", 56, 56", 68, 78) is provided, which in an outer contour (7, 37, 57, 57", 68", 68", 79) has an angular structure (8, 8", 38, 38") for adjusting and bracing an angle between the contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) for the limbs. According to the invention at least two surfaces (13, 13", 17, 17" 39, 39", 39") arranged in the assembled state of the splint (1, 31, 51, 61, 71) on the faces of the contact surfaces (3, 4, 33, 34, 53, 54, 63, 64, 73, 74) remote from the limbs are provided. At least in some sections said two surfaces are non-displaceably joined together to create a double-walled or multi-walled structure, wherein a joint axis of the joint to be immobilised forms an angle of less than 60° with a normal of the non-displaceably joined surfaces (13, 13", 17, 17" 39, 39", 39"). Figure 2 is the representative figure.
