The invention relates to and describes a splint for installing on a body section of a patient, which splint comprises a body element (73) that has a contact surface (37) pointing towards the body section, and an outer surface (39) pointing away from said contact surface (37), said body element (73) being formed from a planar, flexible material and having a first contact section (75) and a second contact section (77) arranged at a splint angle (13) to one another; and which also comprises a support body (83) for determining said splint angle (13), which support body (83) lies against said outer surface (39), has a rod-shaped design, and has at least two rod sections (85, 87) arranged at an angle (13) corresponding to the splint angle (13) between the contact sections (75, 77) of the body element (73).
