PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of easily fixing a part of a transfer belt to the transfer device body side.SOLUTION: The transfer device includes a transfer device body 3, a support plate 4 installed in the transfer device body 3 so as to be freely movable between a retreat position and an advance position, the transfer belt 8 arranged so as to wind around the support plate 4, a sandwiching means 60 for fixing the part of the transfer belt 8 to the transfer device body 3 side, and a transfer mechanism for reciprocating the support plate 4 between the retreat position and the advance position. The sandwiching means 60 has a first sandwiching member 64 fixed to the transfer device body 3, a second sandwiching member 66 rockingly installed in the first sandwiching member 64, and a lock means 70 for locking and holding the second sandwiching member 66 in a sandwiching state.
