PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus capable of efficiently assisting transfer of a care-receiver.SOLUTION: A transfer apparatus 1 has an upper body support member 10 for supporting a part of an upper half of a care-receiver's body, a lower body support member 20 for supporting a part of a lower half of the care-receiver's body, and a leg post 40 for moving at least one of the upper body support member 10 and the lower body support member 20 in a vertical direction of the care-receiver according to an operation of a caregiver. The upper body support member 10 is held at a position higher than the lower body support member 20 in a state of supporting the care-receiver.
