The iris surface comprises one ormore texture patchesfor facilitating measurement of a cyclotorsional rotation of the test device.The retinal surfacedefines a diffuse surface configured to absorb light. Another such deviceincludes a body, andmeans for providing optical torsion alignment markers. The device furtherincludes means forproviding a retinal surface and means for providing a corneal surface. Thedevice furtherincludes a measure configured to evaluate the position of the torsionalignment markers tofacilitate measurement of a cyclotorsional rotation of the device.
