PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assist device for assisting a motion of an agent without making the agent feel strange.SOLUTION: In the assist device 1, the output of an actuator 12 adjusted so that it becomes lower as a state of charge SOC of a battery exceeds a first threshold value SOC1, and also so that it becomes lower as the state of charge SOC of the battery becomes lower, on condition that the state of charge SOC of the power source (the available electricity to the actuator 12 by a power source) is equal to or less than the first threshold value SOC1. (as shown in Fig.3 of STEP 006, STEP 018, and Fig.4).
