A self-sealing dressing (10) for application to skin of a human may include a substrate (12) including elastomeric material, and a cold flow adhesive layer (18) coupled to the substrate. The adhesive layer (18) may be adapted to adhere to skin of a human to form a substantially gas impermeable seal between the adhesive layer (18) and the skin that is maintained during repeated flexure and/or extension of the dressing.
