To provide a transparent gel-like composition for shaving having excellent formulation stability such as suppression of clouding during low-temperature storage, and persistence of transparency and excellent adhesiveness during coating and affording sufficient steaming effects, carrying out shaving by foaming after coating without clogging a razor blade and preventing barbers itch such as congestion or a tingling feeling after the shaving.
SOLUTION: The transparent gel-like composition for shaving comprises (A) a linear fatty acid (B) a branched fatty acid (C) an organic amine (D) a cellulosic thickener and (E) water and (F) a hydrocarbon oil, as desired and may be contained.
