To provide a radiation shield device and surely protecting an operator from X-rays scattering in three dimensions.
SOLUTION: This radiation shield device used in medical treatment and examination in CT (Computer Tomographic) radioscopy includes: a plate-like X-ray shielding base part 3 provided ON a bed of an X-ray CT apparatus and having an edge substantially parallel to the body axis of a subject an X-ray shielding cover part 2 constructed like an arch ON each edge 3c and 3c of the X-ray shielding base part 3 and a spacer 4 interposed between the X-ray shielding base part 3 and the subject.
