PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive article whose flaps can be easily raised when putting on the absorptive article.SOLUTION: The absorptive article 1 has a width direction x and a longitudinal direction y and comprises a top sheet 2, a back sheet 3, an absorptive core 4 provided between them, and flaps 6 provided to both sides in the width direction x of the absorptive core 4. The flap 6 includes a fixed part 7 joined to the top sheet 2 or/and the back sheet 3, an erection part 8 extending from the fixed part 7 and an erection base part 9 at the boundary of the fixed part 7 and the erection part 8. The absorptive article 1 has side edge parts 12 on one side and the other side in the longitudinal direction y.
