PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article being folded after a use, covered by a cover sheet, and easily disposed without a users touching a used surface, and preventing wearing displacement and twisting.SOLUTION: The absorbent article having an absorbent article body includes: a pair of flaps that extend from the elongated absorbent article body to width-directional left/right outer sides and a cover sheet that is provided in a back surface sheet side, covers at least a part of at least one of the pair of flaps, and continuously extends covering the absorbent article body from an area covering the flap. The cover sheet includes a fixed area fixed to the absorbent article body, at one of the absorbent article width direction in the area, and a temporarily fixed part that is temporarily fixed to the absorbent article body at an opposite side of the fixed area side in the absorbent article width direction.
