A flexible fence panel has at least upper and lower horizontal strips (2) which are flexible to bent the panel into the required curve. The panel is also fitted with vertical sleeves (5) to locate anchoring pegs (6, 7) via which the shape of the panel is secured. The cross section of the sleeves matches the dross section of the pegs. The panel is sufficiently flexible to form a protective screen for small pants e.g. saplings
