PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus which can be also used in mammography.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging apparatus 100 comprises: a body 101 a detection part 104 which is disposed in the body 101, and in which pixels for converting radiation into electric signals are arranged two-dimensionally a control part 112 disposed in the body 101 for controlling the detection part 104 and a shielding part for shielding radiation, which is disposed to overlap a whole area of a pixel area of the detection part 104.
