The present invention relates to a composition comprising fermented barely and barely rice chaff (FBE) as active ingredients, and additionally comprising one or more selected from the group consisting of broccoli, beet, a cactus and succinic acid. It was confirmed that, when the composition is administered in advance before administration of alcohol, neointima bleeding, blood alcohol concentration and expression of inflammatory cytokine IL-1 are reduced. Accordingly, the composition can be used for inhibiting alcoholic stomach injury, inhibiting alcohol uptake or relieving hangover.본 발명은 보리 및 보리등겨 발효물(FBE)을 유효성분으로 함유하며, 브로콜리, 비트, 백년초 및 호박산으로 이루어진 군으로부터 선택된 하나 이상을 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 조성물을 이용하여 알코올 투여 전 선투여 하였을 때, 위 내막 출혈, 혈중 알코올 농도 및 염증성 사이토카인인 IL-1β의 발현을 감소시키는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 상기 조성물은 알코올성 위 손상 억제, 알코올 흡수 억제 또는 숙취 해소용 건강식품 조성물로 활용될 수 있다.
