PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter with higher functionality.SOLUTION: An electrode catheter 1 includes an operation part, a shaft 2, and operation wires PW1 and PW2. The shaft 2 extends including a base end region A1, an intermediate region Am, and a tip region A2 which line up sequentially from an operation part side, and is provided with a first passage and a second passage that penetrate the regions. The operation wires PW1 and PW2 are inserted into the first passage or the second passage. The distance from a lumen 4H1 to a central axis CL is shorter than the distance from a lumen 5H1 to the central axis CL, and the distance from a lumen 4H2 to the central axis CL is shorter than the distance from a lumen 5H2 to the central axis CL. Lumens 6H1 and 6H2 are inclined with respect to the central axis CL so that the lumens are gradually separated from each other from the base end region A1 toward the tip region A2.
