PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple production method in which a pig having a desired trait can be produced efficiently in a short term, and the number of times of selection steps in selective mating is reduced.SOLUTION: A production method includes: a step of respectively selecting a boar and sow having a specific genotype associated with the desired trait as a female-based male species pig and a female-based female species pig from a pig group by using a genotypical analysis result associated with a desired trait； a step of obtaining a female species pig by mating the female-based male species pig and the female-based female species pig selected； a step of obtaining a male childbirth of a male species pig candidate by using a genotypical analysis result similarly； a step of analyzing the genetic genotype associated with the desired trait concerning the male childbirth of the male species pig candidate, and selecting an individual having a specific genotype associated with the desired trait as a male species pig from the male childbirth of the male species pig candidate； and a step of mating the male species pig with the female species pig, and obtaining a childbirth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
