PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epidemic prevention method, and a solid body for epidemic prevention which comprises an alkaline material and has coloration effects such as suppression of an environmental change in a barn, while securing epidemic prevention functions such as deactivation of microorganisms and viruses which come in contact with a surface thereof.SOLUTION: By applying a base material on a surface of an object 200 and by drying and solidifying the same, there is formed on the surface of the object a solid body 100 which contains an alkaline material dispersed and embedded therein in a form of solid granules 102 and comprises fine cracks 105 which communicate with the alkaline material therein in the form of solid granules 102, the base material being a slurry of a mixture obtained by mixing and stirring: an emulsion of a non-alkali thickening type resin which does not thicken by aggregation and solidification even when an alkaline material is included an alkaline material whose dilute solution shows a pH of 10.0 or more and a colorant comprising fine powder of a naturally derived material.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】アルカリ性物質を含有して、表面に接触する微生物やウイルスを不活性化させる防疫機能を担保しつつ、畜舎における環境変化を抑えるなどの着色効果のある防疫方法と防疫用固化体を提供する。【解決手段】アルカリ性物質を含有しても凝集固化による増粘が生じない非アルカリ増粘型樹脂のエマルジョンと、希薄水溶液がpH10.0以上を呈するアルカリ性物質と、天然由来材料の微粉末からなる着色剤を含み、これらを混合攪拌して得られる混合物スラリーを母材とし、母材を物体200の表面に塗布しかつ乾燥固化させて、物体の表面に、内部にアルカリ性物質を固形粒子102の形で分散包埋させると共に、内部のアルカリ性物質の固形粒子102に連通する微小クラック105を備える固化体100を形成する。【選択図】図1
