The present invention provides a functional composition providing thermal/hidrotic effect in short time and satisfying three conditions of a human body, an enzyme, and fomentation in the best condition of the body while maintaining homeostasis of the enzyme and far-infrared rays in a limited body temperature from 36.5-37.1°C which is a temperature range of the human body, to a high of 38°C. The present invention also provides a fabric coated with the functional composition and a fomentation unit using the composition or the fabric. According to the present invention, the functional composition providing the thermal/hidrotic effect using the osmotic pressure enzyme in the range of 35-45°C is obtained by a manufacturing process. The manufacturing process comprises: a first step of obtaining a tree concentrate from leaves or branches of an alder tree, a Japanese apricot tree, a Dendropanax morbifera, a Japanese cypress, and a yew tree a second step of obtaining a native grass fermentation enzyme liquid by adding a vegetable spawn to native grass such as Eucommia bark, angelica gigas, a Chinese matrimony vine, an antler, a wormwood, a ginseng leaf, and a pueraria and ripening and fermenting the same a third step of obtaining medical salt by adding the tree concentrate into purified salt comprising melting salt a fourth step of obtaining medical salt powder in which crushed ceramic, red clay, and tourmaline are mixed with the medical salt and a fifth step of obtaining the functional composition for fomentation by mixing the medical salt powder, the tree concentrate, and the native grass fermentation enzyme liquid at a weight ratio of 2±0.5 : 1±0.5 : 1±0.5. So, the functional composition providing the thermal/hidrotic effect enables a user to enjoy a fomentation bath under the optimal condition of the human body while maintaining the homeostasis of the enzyme and the far-infared rays at the body temperature from 36.5-37.1°C which is the temperature range of the human body
