The present invention is a class of spray image dressing for use in the treatment of various types of tissue burns, e.g., burns due to heat, chemicals or sunlight exposure. The spray dressing of the present invention comprises a film forming polymer and metal or metal oxide particles. The metal or metal oxide, preferably aluminum oxide, acts as a thermally conductive component to enhance heat radiation from the image. Spray dressing may also include antimicrobial agents, anesthetics, analgesics or preservatives.
