Left-right edge connection sections (13, 13) that connect the upper layer sheet (10) and the lower layer sheet (11) are provided in the lengthwise direction at the widthwise edge sections of the polymer sheet (5), and the superabsorbent polymer (12) is positioned on the widthwise inner side of these left-right edge connection sections (13).
