SOLUTION: In this cultivator 1 including an engine 11, a transmission case 13 arranged forward of the engine 11, a drive wheel 15 arranged below the transmission case 13, a rotary cultivation device 2 arranged behind the transmission case 13, and a handle 19 projecting forward from above the transmission case 13, the rotary cultivation device 2 includes a rotary frame 24 extending backward from the transmission case 13, upper covers 31 and 32 supported vertically turnably to the rotary frame 24 and cover the upper part of a cultivating claw 23, and a side cover 33 supported in vertically turnably on right/left outside of the upper covers 31 and 32, and besides, is provided with a controller capable of turning the side cover 33 vertically at the front part of the side cover 33.
