PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure structure of the machine suitable for transplanting a white Welsh onion or the like for example, inside a groove 15, reduce the left-right width of the machine and improve the assembling and disassembling property. SOLUTION: In this transplanter where a seedling taken out by a seedling fetching claw 13 from a seedling stand 7 is transferred to a planting claw 9 and then planted in a field and left and right driving wheels 5 are mounted in an elevatable fashion, an engine 2, a hydraulic elevating pump 23 and seedling fetch and transmission case 24 are formed on the upper side of vehicle body frames 1 and 3, and a driving transmission case 4 is formed on the lower side of the frames 1 and 3 while a handle frame 8 is formed on the rear side of the frames 1 and 3.
