PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter capable of cutting a bone joining material while preventing cracks from being generated on a cut portion of the bone joining material and the cut surface from being a chevron-shaped projecting surface having a ridge line portion.SOLUTION: The cutter for cutting a slender bone joining material in a direction crossing the length direction thereof includes two members 1, 2 which are overlapped with each other and can move in the relatively reverse direction. In the cutter, at least a material holding portion 3A for holding the bone joining material is formed on the one member 1, and a material cutting portion for cutting the bone joining material or a material cutting portion 4B serving also as a material holding portion is formed on the other member 2. When the bone joining member is cut with a material cutter of the other member while being held in the material holding portion of the one member, the bone joining material is hardly deformed when cut to prevent cracks. Further, since the cutting of the bone joining material is completed when the material cutting portion finishes relative movement from the one end to the other end of the material holding portion, the cutting surface becomes flat to prevent a ridge line portion from being formed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT【課題】骨接合材料の切断部に亀裂が生じないように且つ切断面が稜線部分を有する山形の凸面とならないように骨接合材料を切断できる切断具を提供する。【解決手段】細長い骨接合材料をその長さ方向と交差する方向に切断するための切断具であって、互いに重なって相対的に逆方向に移動し得る二つの部材1,2を備え、一方の部材1には骨接合材料を保持する材料保持部3Aが少なくとも設けられ、他方の部材2には骨接合材料を切断する材料切断部、あるいは材料保持部を兼ねた材料切断部4Bが設けられている切断具とする。骨接合材料を一方の部材の材料保持部に保持させて他方の部材の材料切断具で切断すると、骨接合材料が切断時に殆ど変形しないため切断部に亀裂が発生しなくなり、しかも骨接合材料の切断は、材料切断部が材料保持部の一端から他端まで相対的に移動し終えたときに完了するので、切断面は平坦面となって稜線部分は形成されない。【選択図】図5
