PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a position-adjusting shaft for cantilever-supporting a seedling-planting member on a soil-covering member-supporting frame on one of the right and left sides of the seedling-planting member is liable to be interfered when the soil-covering member-supporting frames are disposed on both the right and left sides of the seedling-planting member.SOLUTION: In the seedling planter, the seedling-planting member 5 which is upward or downward moved with an upward or downward moving mechanism 4 on a prescribed operation locus to plant seedlings on a field is disposed a seedling-supplying device 24 for supplying the seedlings to the right or left seedling-planting member 5 is disposed and a soil-covering member 73 for soil-covering the peripheries of the seedlings planted with the seedling-planting member 5 is disposed behind the seedling-planting member 5.
