This probe has a perspective-type imaging device mounted on the leading end of the probe such that the diameter of the probe is minimized, and is capable of obtaining quality images and measuring radiating light over a wide visual field that contains the site to be observed, without requiring any special image processing. The probe is provided with: an optical system for measuring radiating light which emits irradiating light (L1) on a site to be observed (31) on biological tissue (30), and which receives the light that is radiated from the site to be observed and a perspective-type imaging device (12) which has an viewing angle α, and the visual field central axis of which forms a forward tilt angle β with the probe in the radial direction. The optical system for measuring radiating light is provided with an optical element (for example, a mirror (13)), which determines the direction in which the irradiating light is emitted and the direction in which the radiating light is received, behind the perspective-type imaging device. The direction of emission forms a forward tilt angle γ with the probe in the radial direction, and the perspective-type imaging device and the optical element are mounted on the leading end (10) of the probe so as to be able to pivot around the center of the axis A of the leading end in the longitudinal direction, wherein 90° < α < 110°, 20° < β < 35°, and 5° < γ < 15°.
