PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of maintaining natural turf for stadium that is capable of facilitating maintenance of natural turf in a period in which the stadium is not used, and reducing labor and cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a method of maintaining natural turf of a cold-district type lawn grass vegetated on soil of a stadium. A raising period for raising natural turf and a dormancy period for temporarily stopping the raising of the natural turf are alternately provided. In the dormancy period, at least atmospheric temperature in the vicinity of the natural turf is set greater than 0(°C) and less than 10(°C) and a daily integrated amount of light on the natural turf is set in a range of 0-40 (mol m-2 day-1).SELECTED DRAWING: NoneCOPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】競技場を使用しない期間における天然芝の維持管理が簡便化でき、省力化やコストダウンを図ることが可能な競技場用天然芝の維持管理方法を提供する。【解決手段】競技場の土壌に植生される寒地型芝草の天然芝を維持管理する方法であり、天然芝を育成する育成期間と、天然芝の育成を一時的に停止させる休眠期間とを交互に設け、休眠期間は、少なくとも天然芝の近傍における雰囲気温度を０（℃）超１０（℃）未満とし、且つ、天然芝に対する光の日積算光量を０～４０（ｍｏｌ・ｍ－２・ｄａｙ－１）の範囲とする。【選択図】なし
