PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for quickly and securely at units of trees judging the spontaneous dormancy awakening period of a low temperature requiring deciduous tree, without being affected by weather warming and abnormal weather.SOLUTION: This method for judging the spontaneous dormancy awakening period of a low temperature requiring deciduous tree includes judging whether the spontaneous dormancy awakening period arrives or not, using as an indicator, the content of translocation sugar in vessel liquid.
