Provided is novel selenyl-methyluracil compounds, and more particularly, a pharmaceutical composition for enhancing the effect of radiation treatment, which comprises at least one compound selected from the group consisting of the selenyl-methyluracil compounds or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, as an active ingredient. The selenyl-methyluracil compounds according to the present invention enhance the efficiency of radiation treatment in cancer, therefore it is possible to lower the amount of radiation while obtaining the excellent effect equivalent to that obtained from high-dose radiation treatment, and the compounds significantly reduce side effects of a high-dose radiation treatment such as damage to normal tissues, thereby maximizing the radiation treatment efficiency.Linvention concerne de nouveaux composés de sélényl-méthyluracile, et plus particulièrement, une composition pharmaceutique pour augmenter leffet du traitement par radiations, qui comprend au moins un composé sélectionné parmi le groupe constitué des composés de sélényl-méthyluracile ou des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables de ceux-ci, comme ingrédient actif. Les composés de sélényl-méthyluracile selon la présente invention augmentent lefficacité du traitement par radiations du cancer, par conséquent, il est possible dabaisser la quantité de radiations tout en obtenant lexcellent effet équivalent à celui obtenu à partir du traitement par radiations à forte dose, et les composés réduisent de manière importante les effets secondaires dun traitement par radiations à forte dose comme lendommagement de tissus normaux, maximisant de cette façon lefficacité du traitement par radiations.
