The invention is used in the field of sporting gymnastics for performing exercises geared to increasing the flexibility of the joints, and also for demonstrating frontbending and backbending contortion exercises. The training equipment comprises a circular revolving platform with a seat for the user, said platform being mounted on an immovable base via a supporting ball bearing, said base being connected to a support stand. In addition, said training equipment is equipped with a device for training the hip joints which is in the form of two horizontal supports for the legs, said supports being mounted movably on the shaft of the revolving platform in such a way as to be capable of opening relative to one another at an angle of 180°. The horizontal supports have hinged joints which make it possible for said supports to be lifted upwards, and holders for the feet. The equipment is provided with a mechanism for controlling the revolving platform. The immovable base is preferably in the form of a multi-pronged support with horizontal struts. The support stand comprises one double lever preferably in the form of a flat handlebar.
