PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant cultivation machine highly retaining light strength by making a lighting device always close to plants, and formed to control other external factors affecting a speed of photosynthesis, such as a concentration of carbon dioxide in a peripheral area of plants, to the most suitable condition so as to increase a speed of photosynthesis by the synergy and greatly improve plant cultivation efficiency.SOLUTION: This plant cultivation machine includes a fixed base 1 horizontally supporting a cultivation tank 2 in which a plant to be cultivated is planted, a lifting base 3 provided above the cultivation tank 2, in parallel to the fixed base 1, and a lifting mechanism 5 raising and lowering the lifting base 3 in a condition of keeping horizontal. The lifting base 3 is arranged with a lighting device 7 for applying light to the plant planted in the cultivation tank 2, and an air sending mechanism 8 for sending air to the plant planted in the cultivation tank 2.
