PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide plant cultivation methods that can apply COof a cultivation plant at low cost and can increase substance production efficiency by photosynthesis.SOLUTION: In a plant cultivation method in which a mulching sheet 14 covering the upper surface of a culture soil 13 and penetrating through planting holes 17 is covered to plant a cultivation plant into each planting hole and to cultivate plants, an air buffer space 15 is provided between the mulching sheet and the surface of the cultivation soil to accumulate in the air buffer space COproduced by aerobic bacteria in the cultivation soil, as well as a supply pipe 16 is arranged in the air buffer space to send the open air into the air buffer space by a blower apparatus 2 through the supply pipe, thereby the air in the air buffer space being send to a stem portion or a leaf portion of a cultivation plant P planted in the planting hole from each planting hole. As a result, COin the air buffer space produced by aerobic bacteria can be efficiently supplied to the cultivated plants and substance production efficiency by photosynthesis can be enhanced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
