PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an octopus fishing tackle that can reduce a loss of the octopus fishing tackle due to rooting in octopus fishing.SOLUTION: An octopus fishing tackle is structured such that the force to push down the rooted fishing tackle in the downward direction is applied when pulling a rod in an upper direction, and the fishing tackle is removed. Also, an elastic outer shell with a hook 5 built therein is provided, and the built-in hook 5 is structured to protrude when being held by an octopus. Also, it is configured by the structure and the outer shell where the hook 5 is floated from the seabed in the constant height from the seabed, and is structured to be floated from the seabed by putting a fishing line 6.
