The present disclosure relates to methods and tools for enhancing cognition inanindividual. The methods involve presenting to an individual a task to beperformed, presenting to theindividual an interference, and receiving inputs from the individual. Wherethe intereference is adistraction, the individual is to ignore the interference. Where theintereference is an interruptor, theindividual is instructed to respond to the interruptor as a secondary task andis said to be multitasking.Inputs are then also received from the individual pertaining to this secondarytask. Themethods encompass iterations of these presentating steps and receiving of theinput, and generation ofanalysis and/or feedback to the individual. The methods can further includeconducting an analysisand/or generating feedback to the individual. The analysis can include acomparison of theperformances with or without each type of interference.
