The invention relates to novel 2-acyloxy-pyrrolin-4-ones of formula (I), in which A, B, G, W, X, Y and Z are defined as indicated above, to several methods and intermediate products for the production thereof and use thereof as pesticides and/or herbicides. The invention also relates to selective herbicidal agents which contain 2-acyloxy-pyrrolin-4-ones and a compound which improves crop plant compatibility. The invention further relates to improving the effect of plant protection agents containing, in particular, 2-acyloxy-pyrrolin-4-ones, by adding ammonium or phosphonium salts and optionally penetration enhancers, to the corresponding products, to methods for the production thereof and use thereof in plant protection as insecticides, nematicides and/or acaricides and/or for preventing undesired plant growth.
