The invention relates to novel 2 acyloxy pyrrolin 4 ones of formula (I) in which A B G W X Y and Z are defined as indicated above to several methods and intermediate products for the production thereof and use thereof as pesticides and/or herbicides. The invention also relates to selective herbicidal agents which contain 2 acyloxy pyrrolin 4 ones and a compound which improves crop plant compatibility. The invention further relates to improving the effect of plant protection agents containing in particular 2 acyloxy pyrrolin 4 ones by adding ammonium or phosphonium salts and optionally penetration enhancers to the corresponding products to methods for the production thereof and use thereof in plant protection as insecticides nematicides and/or acaricides and/or for preventing undesired plant growth.
