The invention relates to powder containingprotein, the phenylalanine part amounting to at least 30%(w/w), or at least 40% (w/w). It has been shown that powdercontaining phenylalanine is highly suitable, in terms ofaerodynamic behaviour and protein stabilisation, especiallyafter spray drying, for producing powders or proteincompositions with improved aerodynamic properties. The mainconstituent is phenylalanine and the optional otherconstituent is an auxiliary agent, preferably a sugar or apolyol, which is highly water-soluble compared tophenylalanine.
