The present disclosure is directed to a skin contacting product and a method of makingsame wherein the skin contacting product is formed of a laminated material havingat least two distinct layers including a fabric layer and a film layer The laminatedmaterial also has a film-like surface on a selected surface portion of the fabriclayer which is formed by applying heat to the selected surface face portion. Theheat is applied at a temperature and for a period of time sufficient to form thefilm-like surface wherein the temperature and the period of time are dependentupon the physical characteristics of the laminated material
