PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple-structured seedling transplanter capable of improving the operability and workability of a machine body and good for the global environment because a machine body of a conventional seedling transplanter is large-structured though the conventional seedling transplanter can plant seedlings in such a way that the vines of vine-like seedlings such as of sweet potatoes can be buried long in the front and rear direction under the soil, and can transplant the vine-like seedlings such as of sweet potatoes by a machine and as a result, the workability of the conventional seedling transplanter is greatly improved as compared to conventional manual planting work.SOLUTION: The seedling transplanter is equipped with a seedling planting device U in which a seedling conveying part 5 and seedling planting bodies 6 for planting seedlings conveyed by the seedling conveying part 5 in a field are disposed in a travelling machine body 4 to be moved by right and left travelling devices 7. The seedling planting device U is disposed on one side in the front and rear direction of the travelling machine body 4, and a power engine 3 is disposed on the other side in the front and rear direction. A control handle 2 is disposed on the side where the power engine 3 is disposed.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来の苗移植機は、甘薯苗等の蔓状の苗を蔓の部分が土壌内で前後に長く埋められるように苗を植え付けることができ、甘薯苗等の蔓状の苗の移植作業が機械で行えて、従来の手植え作業に比して非常に作業性が向上した。然しながら、上記の苗移植機は大型の機体構成であって、機体の操作性や作業性が向上する簡潔な構成の苗移植機を得る課題がある。また、地球環境に優しい苗移植機を得る課題もある。【解決手段】左右走行装置7にて進行する走行機体4に苗搬送部5と該苗搬送部5にて搬送された苗を圃場に植付ける苗植付け体6を設けた苗植付け装置Uを装備した苗移植機において、該走行機体4の前後方向一側に苗植付け装置Uを配置し、前後方向他側に原動機3を配置すると共に、原動機3を配置した側に操縦ハンドル2を設けた苗移植機。【選択図】図1
